Bicycle Parking Lots and Removal of Illegally-parked Bicycles

Mitaka City has set up bicycle parking lots, mainly in areas around the train stations, and at the same time has established a city ordinance to prevent illegally-parked bicycles and motorcycles. Accordingly, areas around Mitaka Station, Inokashira Koen Station, Mitakadai Station, Tsutsujigaoka Station have been designated as no-parking areas. It is prohibited to leave your bicycle or motorcycle in these areas, and vehicles that are illegally-parked even after a warning and instructions are issued will be removed.
No-parking areas are designated on the street by large signs, symbols and stickers.
